I started my journey as a freelancer while I was still in college. I had always been interested in technology and the internet and I was always curious about how websites worked. That’s why I decided to take a course in web development. I was fascinated by the idea of creating websites and I was determined to learn all I could about it.
During my course, I learned about HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various other technologies that are used to build websites.
As I was gaining more knowledge and skills, I started to look for opportunities to put them into practice. That’s when I discovered freelancing. I was drawn to the idea of being able to work from anywhere and at any time, and to have the freedom to choose the projects I wanted to work on. So, I decided to take the leap and start offering my services as a freelancer.
I started by reaching out to my friends and family and telling them about my new venture. I also created a website and a portfolio that showcased my skills and previous projects. I then started bidding on various projects on freelancing platforms such as Upwork and Fiverr. It was a slow start, but I was persistent and soon enough, I started to get my first clients.
As my client base grew, I realized that there was a demand for more services than just web development. Some of my clients needed help with SEO, and others needed content for their websites. That’s when I decided to expand my services and offer SEO and content writing services as well. This helped me to differentiate myself from other freelancers and also allowed me to increase my income.
